Alexis [Aleksei Fiodorvich] Aladin (1873 - 1927) was involved with the turbulent political history of Russia in the last years of the 19thC and into the first two decades of the 20thC.He came to London in 1900,having escaped Russia where he had been briefly imprisoned for political agitation.
